The Burke High School Varsity Soccer team kicked their way to the South Carolina High School League soccer playoffs again for the second straight year. After a close loss last year in the third round against Bamburg-Ehrhardt High school, the Bulldogs faced them again but with a different turnout.

After being down by three goals at the half, the Bulldogs came storming back with 7 goals, by Jamison Bennekin, Ke’juan Brown-Singleton, Sidney Robinson with 2 goals, and Heshem Hikal with 3 goals.

“We’ve always had good players, but this year I feel like we showed extraordinary skills on the field, junior Mekhi Smith stated.
