BHS Students Receive PC Pro Certification

De'Lawrel Rogers, Staff Writer

Four BHS students became PC Pro Certified Wednesday, May 16th. De’Amontay Bell (9th grade), De’Lawrel Rogers (10th), Jamison Bennekin and Israel Nichols (11th) passed TestOut’s industry recognized PC Pro Certification exam as part of Burke’s Computer Repair Services class.

TestOut’s certification is a simulated lab environment which tests “real world” PC repair as well as maintenance, basic networking, and server and security administration skills and knowledge. It’s a challenging exam, but the end result of being better able to secure a job as a certified PC technician is well worth it.

Congratulations, gentlemen!
